Camping at Naturist Clubs and Naturism in the UK
For those who would rather stay at home and enjoy naturism in the UK, there is always the option of taking a holiday visit to one of the UK’s naturist clubs, or otherwise known as ‘Sun Club’s’. The euphemism ‘Sun Club’ is often used instead of ‘naturist’ as many of them have a history of being rather secretive about what they are and what they do. Many naturist club members still maintain this practice and members are often only referred to by first name within the club. They would never dream of telling other people that they belong to a naturist club, and often they will keep this from being known to their friends and family and work colleagues.
But why all the secrecy? At traditional ‘Sun Clubs’ they participate in nothing more sinister than enjoying fresh air, sunshine, swimming, saunas exercise and healthy living: they simply do it without clothes. It’s not really something to be ashamed of.
One typical traditional naturist club is Diogenes Sun Club. They offer membership to families and couples and also have a number of single members. They welcome holiday visits for those who want camping pitches and those who would rather to visit the club to try it out first and find out what it is like, are welcome to request a free trail visit.
